Gao Han (starring Oho Ou), a rising finance student who navigates the cutthroat world of high finance. He lands an internship at an investment bank, initially mentored by the experienced chief analyst, Todd (starring Andy Lau). As Gao rises through the ranks, he faces pressure to succeed and the temptation of corrupt practices, eventually leading him to betray Todd and his principles for personal gain.
This betrayal impacts Gao’s relationships, his friend’s family business. Gao eventually realizes his mistakes and stood his ground to prevent a hostile takeover, thereby redeeming himself in the process. After earnestly asking for Todd’s help, the two worked to successfully help Chu Feng (starring Jasper Liu) regain control of his family company.
